Fate is a Relic silver sword from the base game. It rolls up to +10% Igni and +10% Axii sign intensity and adds a fixed +10% stagger chance. Crach an Craite gives it as a reward in King's Gambit at Kaer Trolde in Skellige. Its stats are rolled when it is handed over.
Each copy rolls +2-10% Igni sign intensity and +2-10% Axii sign intensity. Every copy adds +10% stagger chance. The two sign bonuses suit a signs build that leans on Igni and Axii.
It has 3 rune slots. These hold three runestones or one runeword, which fills all three slots of a sword.
How to Get Fate
- Play King's Gambit at Kaer Trolde and help Cerys and Hjalmar. Crach an Craite then gives Geralt the sword.
- It is also common random loot.
Fate Map Location and Quest Guide
The pin marks King's Gambit, the quest at Kaer Trolde on Ard Skellig that follows Possession and The Lord of Undvik. Crach an Craite gives Geralt the relic Fate in his room early in the quest, as thanks for helping his children.
- Finish Possession and The Lord of Undvik. King's Gambit then starts at Kaer Trolde.
- Follow Arnvald to the feast hall, where Hjalmar and Cerys quarrel.
- Go to Crach an Craite's room. Birna Bran storms out on arrival.
- Talk to Crach. He gives Geralt Fate for helping his children.
