Mastercrafted Griffin Armor is medium witcher chest armor from the base game. It is the fourth tier of the Griffin School armor. It gives 205 armor and +20% sign intensity at level 34. Its diagram is at a hidden treasure marker northeast of Redgill in Skellige. It is meant for the late game.
It gives +20% sign intensity, +17% piercing, +16% bludgeoning, +22% slashing and +25% monster resistance. The sign intensity suits a signs build.
Set Bonus
The Griffin set is medium armor with 5 tiers. 3 pieces: after a sign cast in standard mode with stamina, the next sign cast within 3 seconds costs no stamina. 6 pieces: Yrden traps are 40% larger, and inside the trap stamina regeneration rises by 5/s, sign intensity by 100% and damage taken drops by 20%. These bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a set.

- Find the hidden treasure marker northeast of Redgill. The armor diagram lies there with the boots, gauntlets and trousers diagrams.
- A master armorer crafts it from Superior Griffin Armor.
Mastercrafted Griffin Armor Map Location and Quest Guide
The Mastercrafted Griffin Armor diagram sits in a chest on the second floor of the ruins northeast of Redgill and southeast of Whale Graveyard, on Ard Skellig. The pin marks the ruins, the armor stop of Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4. A cyclops guards them, and the same chest holds the boots, gauntlets and trousers diagrams.
- Buy Edwin Greloff's fourth map from Éibhear Hattori to start Scavenger Hunt: Griffin School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
- Go to the ruins northeast of Redgill and southeast of Whale Graveyard.
- Kill the cyclops that guards the ruins. Mind the side open to the sea, where a fall is fatal.
- Find the griffin marker on the boulders on the north side of the ruins, and climb the boulders to the second floor.
- Step around the hole in the middle of the room.
- Search the two chests in the room. One holds the Mastercrafted Griffin Armor diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Mastercrafted Legendary Griffin Armor instead. It needs level 34 plus the starting level, gives 210 armor at level 35 and +30% sign intensity.
