Master armorer

Mastercrafted Legendary Ursine Trousers are the NG+ Legendary variant of Mastercrafted Ursine Trousers, heavy witcher armor. They give 79 armor at level 35. Their +15% adrenaline gain is the second highest of any trousers. They are a Velen find that needs level 34 beyond the NG+ starting level.

They also give +10% piercing, +15% slashing, +12% monster and +40% elemental resistance. The regular trousers give 77 armor and +10% adrenaline gain. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build.

Set Bonus

The Ursine set is heavy armor with five tiers, Basic to Grandmaster. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, there is a chance a new one is cast at no stamina cost, rising by 5% per set piece. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

How to Get Mastercrafted Legendary Ursine Trousers

  • In NG+, follow Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
  • Find the diagram at the Destroyed Bastion, with the armor, gauntlets and boots diagrams.
  • A master armorer crafts them.

Mastercrafted Legendary Ursine Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The Mastercrafted Legendary Ursine Trousers diagram sits in a chest at the Destroyed Bastion in Velen, guarded by a cyclops. The pin marks the chest, which also holds the armor, boots and gauntlets diagrams of Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4. In New Game +, this legendary diagram replaces the standard one at the same spot.

  1. Buy Ibrahim Savi's fourth map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde to start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
  2. Go to the Destroyed Bastion in Velen.
  3. Kill the cyclops that guards the bastion.
  4. Find the grindstone and the small area between several walls next to it.
  5. Loot the chest there for the Mastercrafted Legendary Ursine Trousers diagram.
