Master armorer

Mastercrafted Ursine Trousers are the Mastercrafted tier of the Ursine (Bear School) trousers, heavy witcher armor from the base game. They give 77 armor at level 34, with +10% adrenaline gain. The diagram is at the Destroyed Bastion in southeastern Velen. They show up in the late game.

They also give +5% piercing, +10% slashing, +9% monster and +20% elemental resistance. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build.

They are the base for the Grandmaster Ursine Trousers from Blood and Wine.

Set Bonus

The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, a new one may cast at no stamina cost, with the chance rising by 5% per set piece. 6 pieces: damage from abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%. These bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a set.

How to Get Mastercrafted Ursine Trousers

  • Follow Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
  • Go to the Destroyed Bastion in southeastern Velen, which a cyclops guards.
  • Take the diagram, which lies with the boots, gauntlets and armor diagrams.
  • A master armorer crafts them from the Superior Ursine Trousers.

Mastercrafted Ursine Trousers Map Location and Quest Guide

The Mastercrafted Ursine Trousers diagram sits in a chest at the Destroyed Bastion in Velen, guarded by a cyclops. The pin marks the chest, which also holds the armor, boots and gauntlets diagrams of Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.

  1. Buy Ibrahim Savi's fourth map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde to start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
  2. Go to the Destroyed Bastion in Velen.
  3. Kill the cyclops that guards the bastion.
  4. Find the grindstone and the small area between several walls next to it.
  5. Loot the chest there for the Mastercrafted Ursine Trousers diagram.
