Mastercrafted Ursine Armor is the Mastercrafted tier of the Ursine (Bear School) chest armor, a heavy witcher armor from the base game. It gives 205 armor at level 34, with +20% adrenaline gain. Its diagram is at the Destroyed Bastion in Velen, guarded by a cyclops. It is a late-game chest piece.
It also gives +25% piercing, +25% bludgeoning, +30% slashing and +30% monster resistance. Compared with Superior Ursine Armor, it adds 20 armor and raises adrenaline gain from +15% to +20%. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build.
Upgrading from the Superior tier keeps its glyphs, but a glyphword is lost.
Set Bonus
The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The set bonuses come with the Grandmaster tier. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, there is a chance a new one is cast at no stamina cost, rising by 5% per set piece. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

- Find the diagram at the Destroyed Bastion, with the boots, gauntlets and trousers diagrams.
- A master armorer crafts it from Superior Ursine Armor.

- Buy Ibrahim Savi's fourth map from the armorer at Kaer Trolde to start Scavenger Hunt: Bear School Gear Upgrade Diagrams - Part 4.
- Go to the Destroyed Bastion in Velen.
- Kill the cyclops that guards the bastion.
- Find the grindstone and the small area between several walls next to it.
- Loot the chest there for the Mastercrafted Ursine Armor diagram.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Mastercrafted Legendary Ursine Armor. It needs level 34 plus the starting level and gives 210 armor at level 35, with +30% adrenaline gain.
