The Pale Widow is an Insectoid and a rare kind of Giant Centipede. It lives in underground lairs and takes its name from its unusual pale white color.

Lore

Doctor Vittorius de la Vega described his first meeting with one: a creature like a giant centipede, but white, utterly white. Like the common giant centipede, the Pale Widow wears hard, chitinous armor. Rows of hooked legs stick out from beneath it.

Some scholars raise these creatures in their laboratories. They want the Pale Widow's albumen, which makes an excellent base for brewing mutagenic potions.

Weaknesses

Coat the silver sword with Insectoid Oil. Yrden works well against a Pale Widow. The trap holds it in place while the blows land.
