Ursine Silver Sword is the Basic tier of the Ursine (Bear School) silver sword, witcher gear from the base game. It deals 283-345 damage at level 20 and has a 10% chance to dismember. Its diagram is at Fort Etnir on Ard Skellig, with the knight Chalimir's letter. It belongs to the mid game.
It also gives +5% adrenaline gain, +5% crit chance and +20% bonus experience from monsters, with 1 rune slot. The adrenaline gain suits an adrenaline build, and the Ursine set bonuses suit a Quen tank.
Set Bonus
The Ursine set is heavy armor. It has five tiers: Basic at level 20, Enhanced at 25, Superior at 30, Mastercrafted at 34 and Grandmaster at 40. The 3-piece and 6-piece bonuses come from Grandmaster pieces worn as a school set. 3 pieces: when a Quen shield breaks, a new one may be cast at no stamina cost, with a 5% chance per set piece worn. 6 pieces: damage dealt by abilities that involve Quen rises by 200%.

Notes
In NG+ the diagram makes Legendary Ursine Silver Sword instead. It needs level 20 plus the NG+ starting level and deals 292-356 damage at level 21, with +21% adrenaline gain, +75% crit damage, +10% crit chance and 3 rune slots.
