Criminals

Criminals are the wanted men and women of Night City and the people who fight for hire on its streets. Most of them are the targets of the NCPD scanner hustles: gang bosses, unlicensed ripperdocs, smugglers and killers with a price on their heads. The NCPD is short of officers, so it hires mercs on the quiet, and the city pays a bounty for each one. Their stories are told on the hustle pages linked in the table.

Street Fighters

The street also has its solos: mercenaries who live by their combat skills and sell them to whoever pays. Street samurai trust their blades. Street scrappers rely on speed and shotguns. Both keep up with new chrome to stay ahead of their rivals.
