Drugs are the street substances of Night City that V can take as consumables. Black Lace is the drug V meets in the main story. It is a combat drug that comes in an inhaler and hardens V for a fight. On the street it goes by the name s-keef. The legal boosters that meds vendors sell sit under Medication instead.

Effects

Black Lace raises V's Armor for a while. Higher Armor means each hit takes less Health. The effect wears off once its timer runs out. Like other inhalers, it works the moment V uses it.

Pros

• Black Lace makes V harder to kill for the length of its effect.
• The inhaler works at once, so it can be used in the middle of a fight.

Cons

• Black Lace comes from a main job, not from a shop.
• The boost fades after a while, unlike the permanent Iconic consumables of Phantom Liberty.
