Main Jobs
Main jobs carry the story of Cyberpunk 2077. They follow V from the life path chosen at the start, Streetkid, Corpo or Nomad, through the meeting with Jackie Welles and the heist on Konpeki Plaza, to the Relic that puts Johnny Silverhand in V's head. From there, the story becomes a race against time to find a cure, with leads that run through Evelyn Parker, the Voodoo Boys, Panam Palmer and the Aldecaldos, and Goro Takemura. It ends with Nocturne Op55N1, where V chooses who to trust for the final raid on Arasaka Tower, and with one of several endings. Phantom Liberty adds a story of its own in Dogtown, with Songbird and Solomon Reed. The main jobs are listed below in story order, each with a walkthrough, a map and the choices that shape the ending.

The Prologue
The story opens with one of three life paths, each with a main job of its own. The Streetkid starts on the streets of Heywood. The Corpo-Rat starts in the Arasaka offices of Corpo Plaza. The Nomad starts in the small Badlands town of Yucca. All three lead V to Jackie Welles. Practice Makes Perfect then teaches the basics of guns, hacking, stealth and melee in a training simulation run by the netrunner T-Bug.
After a montage of the months that follow, V and Jackie take a job for Wakako Okada in The Rescue. Sandra Dorsett has been taken by the Scavengers, and saving her is the first step towards the big leagues.
The First Act
The first act stays in Watson. V gets new implants from Viktor Vektor in The Ripperdoc. The fixer Dexter DeShawn offers the job of a lifetime in The Ride. V meets Evelyn Parker in The Information, deals with Maelstrom and Militech in The Pickup, and finally breaks into Konpeki Plaza in The Heist. The heist goes badly wrong. Jackie dies, and V ends up with the Relic in V's head, and with Johnny Silverhand.
The Second Act
The second act opens with Playing for Time, after V wakes up in a landfill. All of Night City and the Badlands open up, and the story splits into several leads that can be followed in any order.
One lead follows Evelyn Parker and Judy Álvarez, through Automatic Love, The Space in Between, Disasterpiece and Double Life. Another goes to the Voodoo Boys of Pacifica, in M'ap Tann Pèlen, I Walk the Line and Transmission. A third takes V to the Badlands with Panam Palmer and the Aldecaldos, in Ghost Town, Lightning Breaks and Life During Wartime. The last follows Goro Takemura and the Arasaka parade, in Down on the Street, Gimme Danger, Play It Safe and Search and Destroy.
Tapeworm runs alongside, with talks between V and Johnny at the end of four of these main jobs. Never Fade Away, inside Transmission, lets V relive Johnny's memory of losing Alt Cunningham.
The Third Act
The third act begins with Nocturne Op55N1. With every other option used up, V meets Hanako Arasaka at Embers and decides who to ask for help. Hanako leads to Last Caress. Rogue and Johnny lead to For Whom the Bell Tolls and Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Panam and the Aldecaldos lead to We Gotta Live Together, Forward to Death and Belly of the Beast. Saying nothing for long enough opens the secret ending, (Don't Fear) The Reaper.
The Endings
Each path ends in an epilogue. On the Arasaka path, Last Caress leads to Totalimmortal, and the epilogue is Where is My Mind? The raids with Rogue or the Aldecaldos, and the secret ending, reach Mikoshi, where Alt Cunningham offers the last choice in Changes. Path of Glory sees V wake in a penthouse and head to the Afterlife for a new client. All Along the Watchtower sees V leave Night City with Panam and the Aldecaldos. New Dawn Fades follows Johnny as he takes over V's body and leaves the city.
Phantom Liberty
The expansion adds its own chain of main jobs in Dogtown, Pacifica. It starts with Dog Eat Dog, when an unknown caller promises V a way to survive. It follows Songbird, Solomon Reed and President Rosalind Myers through Hole in the Sky, Spider and the Fly, Lucretia My Reflection and the jobs that follow. In Firestarter, V has to choose between Reed and Songbird.
Each side has its own path and its own end. Siding with Reed leads to Black Steel In The Hour of Chaos. Siding with Songbird leads to The Killing Moon, and later From Her to Eternity. With Phantom Liberty, V can also call Reed in Nocturne Op55N1, which leads to Who Wants to Live Forever and the epilogue Things Done Changed.
Notes
Meeting Hanako at Embers in Nocturne Op55N1 is the point of no return, so side jobs and gigs are best finished before it. Several endings need side jobs first: Panam's jobs for the Aldecaldos path, and Chippin' In and Blistering Love for Rogue's.
