Flying Drugs is an Agent Saboteur gig from Dakota Smith in the Badlands. Dakota's friend Mosquito sends shipments of chems to the city by drone, and Dakota takes a cut. Lately, the drones never arrive: someone is plucking them out of the sky. A GPS tag on the last drone leads to Union Railroad Station, an old railway station held by the Wraiths.

Story

Mosquito's Birds

Dakota explains in the journal. A good friend of hers, Mosquito, runs an operation in the Badlands. He packs chems into a drone and sends it to the city, and when his money comes in, he slices off a piece for Dakota. But the drones are not reaching their destinations any more. Someone is plucking them out of the sky on the way. So they sent the last drone with a GPS tag, the thieves took the bait, and the transmitter is pinging. V is to follow the ping and make sure Mosquito's birds can fly free again.

The Station

The Wraiths guard the old station well, inside and out, with turrets on the gates and cameras across most of the grounds. On its roof stands a transmission antenna.

The Antenna

The computer on the ground floor explains everything. The Wraiths reprogrammed the rooftop antenna to broadcast a virus that shuts down the engines of any drone that flies within range, so they can steal the cargo. Without the computer, Johnny spots it himself on the roof: the antenna is obviously being used to bring down the drones.

Getting In

  1. Go to the signal source at Union Railroad Station in the Badlands.
  2. Enter through the open gate on the south side, disabling the camera above the door.
  3. Climb the stairs inside, dealing with the guards near the top.

The Clue

  1. Hack the computer on the ground floor with 7 Intelligence, and read its messages.
  2. Or go straight to the roof and examine the antenna.

The Antenna

  1. Climb up to the antenna on the roof, disabling the camera on the left on the way.
  2. Cut its power with 10 Technical Ability to stay hidden.
  3. Or destroy it with weapons, which alerts the station.
  4. Or use the Overload quickhack on it.
  5. Leave the outpost.
