Jasmine Dixon

Jasmine Dixon
Type	Side Character

Jasmine Dixon is an NCPD sergeant whose honesty was her undoing. After she reported something she should not have heard, she was locked away, and El Capitan sends V to break her out.

Biography

---

Jasmine patrolled the streets of Night City for years and rose to sergeant. One day at the precinct she overheard something she was not meant to hear. Instead of keeping quiet, she reported it to her supervisor, who had her committed against her will.

El Capitan's brief adds the details. Jasmine has patrolled the streets of Night City for years and reached the rank of sergeant. The day after she reported what she heard, she was wheeled off to a psychiatric ward on Sequoia Street, the kind that prescribes lobotomies and electrotherapy. Her husband will do anything to get her out.

The ward's own files show what waits for her. Her diagnosis reads "compulsive lying to the detriment of superiors", treated with long braindance sessions every day, and a nurse's list notes that she refuses her medication and must be prepared for a lobotomy. Messages between Commissioner Fawlter and the ward's doctor reveal who arranged it: the commissioner calls her accusations a symptom of trauma, mentions that she is due to testify in an investigation, and expects a full recovery to mean total memory loss.
