One Way or Another

One Way or Another
Type	Side Job

One Way or Another is a Phantom Liberty side job about Nele Springer, the netrunner V saved from Biotechnica in the gig Roads to Redemption. It only opens if V saved Nele and parted with her on good terms. A few days later, a message from Nele's number asks V to meet her in Dogtown, Pacifica. It is a trap.

Story

Nobody Comes Back

Johnny is suspicious from the start in the journal. Nele is up to something. Nobody comes back to Dogtown just to see V. Still, if she wants a meeting, V should take it and get some answers, but keep both eyes open, for both their sakes.

The Container

The marker leads to a closed shipping container, and another message from Nele says she is inside. When V opens it, a flashbang goes off. Blinded, V is jumped by a small group of mercenaries working for Biotechnica.
