Queue Acceleration makes V's quickhack queues longer and cheaper. It adds RAM, discounts hacks aimed at devices and vehicles, and lengthens the queue while speeding up everything stacked deep in it. A branch of its own is bought through it. Queue builds in the Intelligence tree aim for it.
Effect
The second level is often overlooked and worth a great deal to a build that hacks the environment. Devices and vehicles become cheap enough to use as a matter of course.
The third level is the structural one. A longer queue means more effects on one enemy at once, and the hacks sitting beyond the second upload much faster, so a deep queue is not the slow commitment it looks like.
| Level | Effect |
|---|---|
| 1 | +1 Max RAM. |
| 2 | -1 RAM cost to quickhack devices and vehicles |
| 3 | +1 quickhack queue size, +60 upload speed for quickhack third or later in the queue. |
How to Unlock Queue Acceleration
It sits behind the Phenom gate of the Intelligence tree, which takes a long run of points. All three levels are worth buying, since the queue length arrives on the last.
Perk Tree
Buying Queue Acceleration opens the perks below.
| Name | Image | Tier | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Finisher: Live Wire | Phenom (15) | Unlocks a Monowire finisher. Can be used when an enemy's Health is low. The more quickhacks you have queued on an enemy, the more susceptible they are. Restores 15% Health and 5 RAM. | |
| Queue Hack Root | Phenom (15) | -1 RAM cost for the first quickhack of each unique category (Covert, Combat, Control) second or later in the queue. | |
| Queue Mastery | Legend (20) | +1 quickhack queue size. The last quickhack to fill a queue has -50% RAM cost and locks the queue until all quickhack have uploaded., +15% damage against enemies with a locked queue. | |
| Queue Prioritization | Phenom (15) | +50% upload speed for the first quickhack when you have at least 2 quickhacks queued on an enemy. |
Character Builds
The build is the queue netrunner, which commits several hacks to one enemy and reads the length of that queue in several different ways.
Buy all three levels at the Phenom gate, then Queue Prioritization and Queue Hack Root, then the Monowire finisher if the build carries the wire. Queue Mastery at the Legend gate is the end of the branch, and Feedback Loop far below pays more RAM for every hack added.
Notes
Queue Hack Root, Queue Prioritization, Queue Mastery and the tree's Monowire finisher are all bought from it.
Feedback Loop lower in the tree returns RAM for each hack in a queue, so a longer queue refills the bar faster.
