RAM Nugs give a netrunner more RAM for a long time. More RAM means more quickhacks before the cyberdeck runs dry. The bonus is twice that of RAM Jolt, and it comes with a penalty to another stat. A quickhack build that opens a fight with several hacks in a row gets the most out of it. RAM Nugs are a long-lasting medication that meds vendors sell.
Effect
RAM Nugs are a long-lasting consumable, so one dose stays active for a long time. They raise V's max RAM by four units. Every quickhack costs RAM to upload, so a bigger pool lets V upload more hacks before waiting for RAM to recover. The bonus also brings a penalty that lasts as long as the extra RAM.
RAM Jolt is the milder long-lasting option for max RAM.
