Retrothrusters (from Rogue) are Rogue Amendiares' boots, fitted with Arasaka thrusters that let V jump higher and land safely from any height. Rogue lends them to V for the raid on Arasaka Tower. They cannot be taken off until that raid is over.

Rogue gives V the boots during For Whom the Bell Tolls. They stay on until Knockin' on Heaven's Door is complete and are not kept as an ending reward.
