Rogue Amendiares is the queen of the fixers. In her younger days she was a famous merc, and today she runs the Afterlife, the bar at the heart of the city's merc network. Every serious job in Night City needs her approval. She is one of the last legends of the old days who is more than a story. She was also Johnny Silverhand's lover, and the Relic in V's head brings him back into her life.
Biography
The Solo
As a rebellious teenager, Rogue knew the stiff order of gang life was not for her, and she set out on her own as a solo. She became one of the best mercs in the city and began a stormy romance with the rockerboy Johnny Silverhand. The romance ended badly when she learned that Johnny had cheated on her, and it took her a long time to move on.
Rogue worked with the nomad Santiago, and the two were known as the best mercs of their day. When Johnny asked for help to free Alt Cunningham from Arasaka, Rogue agreed, mostly to strike at the corporations. Years later she joined the Militech raid on Arasaka Tower with Johnny, Spider Murphy and others. When Adam Smasher cut Johnny down, Rogue stopped Spider from going back for him and led the survivors out.
The Fixer
A bad car crash later left Rogue with injuries that even cyberware could not fully mend, and she gave up the life of a solo. She became a fixer instead and took over the Afterlife. Around her she gathered experts: the netrunner Nix, the solo Weyland as her bodyguard, the bouncer Emmerick Bronson and the bartender Claire Russell. Some of her old friends say she sold out and became a corporate matchmaker.
V and Johnny
V comes to Rogue looking for Anders Hellman, the Arasaka scientist who worked on the Relic. She is wary of the survivor of the failed Konpeki heist, but she sends V to Panam Palmer, a nomad merc who owes her a debt. Later, Johnny takes over V's body and goes to Rogue himself. He convinces her it is really him, and together they hunt Adam Smasher's lieutenant Grayson to find out what happened to Johnny's body.
If V helps, Johnny can take Rogue on the date she always wanted: an evening at an old drive-in cinema. V drives her there in Johnny's Porsche and then lets Johnny take over. The two talk about the past and what might have been. Rogue kisses him, but she stops, because too much has changed for her to pretend.

Personality
Rogue is tough, cool and sharp-tongued. She judges people quickly and seldom changes her mind, and she has little patience for mistakes. She keeps her feelings hidden, but the old love and anger she holds for Johnny never quite went away. She protects the Afterlife and its traditions fiercely.
Relationships
Johnny Silverhand is the great love of her life and her greatest heartbreak. Santiago was her partner as a merc. Nix, Weyland, Emmerick Bronson and Claire Russell work for her at the Afterlife. Panam Palmer once worked for her and the two do not get along. Adam Smasher is the old enemy who killed Johnny.
Jobs
Rogue hands out gigs in Watson from the Afterlife, such as Hot Merchandise and Family Heirloom. In the main story she appears in Playing for Time, Ghost Town and Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Chippin' In and Blistering Love are the side jobs that bring her together with Johnny again.

Endings
If V lets Johnny take over and asks Rogue for help in Nocturne Op55N1, she joins Johnny and Weyland in the raid on Arasaka Tower. Adam Smasher kills her during the attack, and Johnny destroys Smasher in revenge.
If V storms the tower alone and survives, Rogue hands control of the Afterlife to V, believing the merc has earned it. In the ending where Johnny keeps V's body and leaves the city, she sends him an angry message for taking another person's life and warns him never to come back. In other endings she asks V to tell Johnny he is an arrogant son of a bitch and that it was nice to talk to him again.
Notes
The Afterlife is Rogue's club, and its bar names drinks after legendary mercs. Her ending path, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, depends on the choices made in Chippin' In.
The film at the drive-in in Blistering Love has to be started by fixing the projector first.
