This drink honors David Martinez, the edgerunner from the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Like any alcoholic drink, it makes V drunk for a short time. The David Martinez is on the Afterlife menu, where Claire Russell serves it.
Effect
Drinking The David Martinez applies the Drunk status. Drunk lowers V's movement speed and halves weapon accuracy. The status lasts a short time. Several drinks in a row stack the effect, so a round right before a fight makes shooting much harder.

Lore
The in-game description calls the drink a shot of vodka on the rocks, topped with NiCola. It closes with a line telling the drinker to aim high and go out with a bang. The Afterlife added the drink after David's death in the anime. David joins Johnny Silverhand and Jackie Welles as a legend with a drink on the menu.
