The Wasteland is a cyberpsycho sighting for Regina Jones in the Badlands, open after Life During Wartime. A storm of dust and sand marks the trail of a cyberpsycho on the run. He is Euralio Alma, an Aldecaldo the Raffen Shiv held and tormented, and planned to use as a human dowsing rod in the desert.

A Cyclone of Dust

The journal asks whether a cyclone of dust and sand, stirred up by a dash of cyberpsychosis, sounds exciting. If so, there is good news.

The Dowsing Rod

A shard records two Raffen Shiv, Shiv4theWin and Raffen_Fever. They are getting nothing out of their prisoner, and the smell of his blood is making one of them sick. The other has an idea: they have heard Aldecaldos can find water, even deep reservoirs, like a living dowsing rod. They will tie him to the front of the car, drive out into the desert, and make him dig where he points.

1. Finish Life During Wartime.
2. Go to the marked area in the Badlands.
3. Use the scanner to find traces of the cyberpsycho.
4. Follow the blood trail.
5. Find Euralio Alma and neutralise him, ideally without killing him.
6. Search the area and read the shards.
7. Message Regina about the sighting.
