The Ancient Dragons' Lightning Spear is a Dragon Cult incantation in Elden Ring. It is a late-game find.
Ancient Dragons' Lightning Spear is a secret incantation of the capital's ancient dragon cult, wielding the red lightning that legend says was the weapon of the ancient dragons. It calls down a spear of red lightning that stabs into the ground, then bursts into waves of lightning spreading ahead, behind and to both sides. The cast has hyper armor and casts faster than Fortissax's Lightning Spear, though it hits less overall, and because the spear falls from above it can strike the ground below a cliff edge. The Gravel Stone Seal boosts it, and pieces of the Death Knight set add a little more. It suits dragon cult faith builds that want a close-range area burst they can cast through hits.
Effect
Calls down a red lightning spear that stabs into the ground and bursts into trails of lightning around the point of impact. Each cast costs 25 FP and takes up one memory slot.
