The Gravel Stone Seal is a Sacred Seal in Elden Ring.
When to Use It
Mid game. It is found around Altus Plateau, which opens up past Stormveil Castle, so it arrives once a build has taken shape.
Why Players Pick It
'consistently only a few points behind the currently strongest pure Faith Sacred Seal until the low 70's', and if you cast damaging Dragon Cult incantations it is always the strongest single seal for them because of its 15% boost, 32.25% with two copies. Requirement is only 18 Faith, so it covers a huge stretch of a lightning build. 's caveat: Electrify Armament is not boosted, because it is not directly damaging and reads only Faith and the seal's Faith scaling.
Upgrades
Ordinary Smithing Stones carry it all the way to +25, and because it is not a Somber weapon it will also hold a grease or a weapon buff, which is a damage source the unique blades simply do not have.
Build
Its scaling runs Str at E and Fai at C, so Fai is the stat worth levelling, and you need Str 4 and Fai 18 before you can lift it. Any Ash of War and any affinity will sit on it, so its scaling can be re-cut towards whichever stat you are already levelling. It also boosts Dragon Cult incantations by 15% on its own, with no infusion needed.
Notes
Sacred seal made from Gravel Stone thought to be an ancient dragon scale. Enhances Dragon Cult incantations of the Royal Capital. The worship of the ancient dragons does not conflict with belief in the Erdtree. After all, this seal, and lightning itself, are both imbued with gold.
