The Ash of War: Wing Stance is an Ash of War in Elden Ring that grants the Quality affinity and the Wing Stance skill. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Wing Stance has the wielder calmly assume a right-sided stance. A normal attack from the stance triggers a rapid three-slash combination, and a strong attack triggers a leaping thrust that passes over low attacks. Holding the skill button after the slashes returns the wielder to the stance almost instantly, so the slashes can be repeated quickly. It suits Strength and Dexterity builds using light greatswords that want a fast combo and a gap closer.
Stats
It grants the Quality affinity and a Whetblade can switch it to Standard, Heavy, Keen, Fire, Flame Art, Lightning, Sacred, Magic, Cold, Poison, Blood or Occult. The skill costs no FP. It fits Light Greatsword.
How to Get Ash of War: Wing Stance Guide
- Ash of War: Wing Stance is found in a chest at the top of a small tower below Castle Ensis.
- From the Castle-Lord's Chamber Site of Grace, dropping over the railing and following the cliffside down leads to the tower.

Skill
Keep the skill button held to chain the slashes repeatedly, which also builds up status quickly. Use the leaping thrust to hop over sweeps and strike from above. Rellana's Cameo boosts the follow-ups as a stance skill.
