Bayle's Tyranny is a Dragon Communion incantation in Elden Ring. It is part of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
Bayle's Tyranny is one of the greatest Dragon Communion incantations, harnessing the dread dragon Bayle, whose heart keeps resisting subjugation and may one day consume its devourer. It channels Bayle to let out a roar with a heatwave burst, setting off violent eruptions of fire around the caster with a touch of lightning damage. The opening blast deals most of the damage and the lingering heatwave adds the rest over several ticks, and it benefits from both fire and lightning boosts. The Talisman of the Dread, Dragon Communion Seals and the Rock Heart raise its damage, though the Roar Medallion does not, and the Heart of Bayle buys only it or Bayle's Flame Lightning. It suits Dragon Communion builds that want a strong area attack against crowds.
Effect
Channels Bayle the Dread to let out a roar with a heatwave blast that sets off violent eruptions of fire around the caster. Each cast costs 46 FP and takes up two memory slots.
How to Get Bayle's Tyranny Guide
- Exchange the Heart of Bayle, dropped by Bayle the Dread at the summit of the Jagged Peak, at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion.
- The heart buys either this or Bayle's Flame Lightning, never both.
