The Comet Azur is a Primeval sorcery in Elden Ring. It shows up mid-run, on Mt. Gelmir.
Comet Azur is the legendary sorcery of Primeval Sorcerer Azur, who glimpsed darkness in the primeval current and was left both bewitched and fearful of the abyss. After a long wind up it unleashes a huge beam of stars that passes through enemies, and holding the cast keeps the torrent going while FP drains away, though the beam cannot be turned once it fires. The long cast is easy to interrupt, and most enemies dodge when the casting animation starts rather than when the beam arrives, so timing matters against agile bosses. Cast right after the Cerulean Hidden Tear, the beam can run for several seconds without draining FP, and the Graven talismans, Magic Scorpion Charm and Terra Magica all raise its damage while Dexterity and the Radagon Icon shorten the cast. It suits intelligence builds willing to commit to a huge burst from a safe opening.
Stats
The Comet Azur unleashes a torrent of starlight that keeps firing for as long as the button is held, dealing magic damage to everything in its path. It costs 40 FP plus 10 FP to keep channeling and takes three memory slots, and a Cerulean Hidden Tear lets it channel without spending FP.
Effect
Fires a tremendous comet beam after a long wind up; holding the cast keeps the beam going while draining FP every moment, and its direction cannot be changed once fired. Each cast costs 40 FP and 34 stamina and takes up three memory slots.

Build
Casting it takes 60 Intelligence and a Glintstone Staff. It fits pure Intelligence builds, where it is often cast alongside Glintstone Pebble, Rock Sling, Stars of Ruin and Rennala's Full Moon.
Notes
- The Cerulean Hidden Tear lets it be channeled without spending FP for its duration.
- Azur's Glintstone Crown boosts it at the cost of higher FP use.
- Works best against large or slow bosses that stay in the beam.
