Fia, the Deathbed Companion is a character in Elden Ring.

Fia is the Deathbed Companion who offers an embrace in a small room of the Roundtable Hold. Her embrace grants the Baldachin's Blessing, a consumable that raises poise. Behind her gentle manner she serves the Prince of Death, and her questline pulls in D, Rogier and Ranni. Completing it yields the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince and the Age of the Duskborn ending.

Lore

Fia wears a hood and a long robe, and she receives visitors in a small bedroom of the Roundtable Hold.

A deathbed companion takes the warmth and vigor of champions and lies with the dead to grant them new life. Fia came to the Lands Between guided by grace and carried on that role among the Tarnished.

In truth she was the companion of Godwyn, the Prince of Death, and wished to mother Those Who Live in Death. She killed D to take his half of the Cursemark of Death and carried it to Godwyn's corpse in the Deeproot Depths.
