Mending Rune of the Death-Prince is a Great Rune in Elden Ring. It is one of the late rewards, found in the Deeproot Depths.
The Mending Rune of the Death-Prince is a rune grown by Fia, the Deathbed Companion. It is formed from two half-wheels joined together. It cannot be equipped like other Great Runes. Its only use is to change the ending.
Use
After the final boss falls, using this rune on Fractured Marika leads to the Age of the Duskborn ending. That ending weaves the principle of life within Death into the new Order.
"Rune gestated by Fia, the Deathbed Companion. Used to restore the fractured Elden Ring when brandished by the Elden Lord. Formed of the two hallowbrand half-wheels combined, it will embed the principle of life within Death into Order. The Golden Order was created by confining Destined Death. Thus, this new Order will be one of Death restored."
Quest
It belongs to Fia's quest. It is brought to Fractured Marika at Elden Throne. The Age of the Duskborn ending.
