The Fingerprint Armor (Altered) is a piece of chest armor in Elden Ring. It belongs to the Fingerprint Set. It arrives late in the game, in the Mountaintops of the Giants.

Fingerprint Armor (Altered) is Vyke's finger-blistered iron armor with the cape removed, carrying the same description of the knight scorched by frenzy. Altering lowers the weight of the chest piece slightly while poise stays the same and defenses dip a little. It remains a medium to heavy piece with good fire negation. It suits Frenzied Flame builds that want a capeless look.

It brings 24 poise at a weight of 10, one of the most weight-efficient choices in the slot.

Fingerprint Armor is one of the best chests for a mixed set: 24 poise at 10.0 weight, a ratio only loincloths and robes beat, with 13.1 physical and 12.2 fire negation. Paired with the Iron Helmet, Crucible Greaves and Gold Bracelets it reaches 51 poise at 24.2 weight, lighter than the full Knight Set. This is the rare alteration worth making on stats alone, since the unaltered armor weighs 10.6 for the same poise.
