The Forbidden Lands are a dark, frozen stretch of land east of Leyndell, Royal Capital. Thick fog always hangs over the snow. The road through them is the only path from the Altus Plateau to the Mountaintops of the Giants. It opens after Morgott, the Omen King is defeated.

Geography
A lift in the eastern part of the capital leads down to the Forbidden Lands. The road runs east through snow and fog, past soldiers and knights. It ends at the Grand Lift of Rold, which carries travelers up to the Mountaintops of the Giants. With the Haligtree Secret Medallion, the lift stops at the Hidden Path to the Haligtree instead.
Bosses
A Black Blade Kindred guards the approach to the Grand Lift of Rold. Night's Cavalry riders patrol the road.
