The Magma Breath is a Dragon Communion incantation in Elden Ring. It becomes available partway through a run, on Mt. Gelmir.
Magma Breath is one of the incantations of Dragon Communion, whose practitioners slowly lose their humanity until they are left as wyrms crawling the earth. It transforms the caster into a wyrm that spits a ball of magma onto the ground, leaving a burning pool, and a second spit can follow right away. The magma pools stack on top of each other, and free-aiming helps drop the magma on top of an enemy instead of at its feet. It can be used on horseback, and cast right after a midair Catch Flame it turns into a swift spray that can chain into another Magma Breath. The Dragon Communion Seal and the Roar Medallion boost it, and it suits Dragon Communion builds that want fire area denial.
Effect
Transforms the caster into a wyrm that spits a ball of magma, leaving a burning pool on the ground; a second spit can follow straight away. Each cast costs 30 FP and takes up one memory slot.
