Sorcerer Thops is a character in Elden Ring.
Sorcerer Thops is a student of the Academy of Raya Lucaria who is stranded outside its gates. He sits in the Church of Irith in Liurnia and teaches a few simple sorceries after a small donation of runes. His wish is to return to the Academy and continue his studies. Giving him a spare Academy Glintstone Key lets him go home.
Lore
Thops is a humble academy student who carries a glintstone staff and speaks with weary modesty about his own talent.
When the Shattering began, the Academy sealed its gates against the war. Thops was outside when the seals went up, and he could never return.
With a key in hand he finally went back, but he died at a desk in the schoolhouse. He left behind a barrier sorcery of his own design.
