The White Mask is a bloodstained, faintly grinning mask worn by war surgeons who were effectively mercy killers, and it is the signature look of White Mask Varré and the Nameless White Masks. The Lord of Blood's curse enlivens the wearer when bloodletting occurs. It is a light helm whose effect raises attack power by 10% for 20 seconds whenever blood loss triggers nearby. It suits bleed builds and anyone recreating Varré's look, and it drops from a Nameless White Mask invader in Mohgwyn Palace.

The White Mask is one of only two helms whose passive raises damage for every armament rather than one spell school: any blood loss nearby, including a summon's or an ally's, boosts attack power by 10% for 20 seconds. At 3.2 weight and 5 poise it costs almost nothing on a bleed build.
How to Get White Mask Guide
The White Mask drops from one of the three Nameless White Mask invaders in the blood lake of Mohgwyn Palace.
- Reach Mohgwyn Palace and rest at the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace.
- Head northwest into the blood-filled lake, where three Nameless White Mask invaders appear.
- Defeat the invader near the Giant Crow by the lake to receive the War Surgeon set.
