Aunt Elin
Aunt Elin is one of the seven aunts of the Carpenter in Enshrouded. She is known in the family as a teller of tall tales. Her story of a haunted temple is the subject of the quest Sun Temple Stories.
Lore
The Carpenter remembers Elin's stories of ghastly catacombs where the Hollow live. Only when another survivor saw them did the Carpenter accept that they were real.
Elin once claimed she was cursed in a Sun Temple in the Kindlewastes. Her note Elin's Warning tells what happened. She was admiring the Spark in the temple when the Flame began to dance in a strange rhythm. A ghostly shape of burning bones rose out of the floor and drifted towards her, cursing as it came. Elin fled as fast as she could. She swore on her sisters that she would have lost her other eye if she had stayed.
The story was not a tall tale after all. Emily Fray, the Farmer, comes from the Kindlewastes and confirms that the Sun Temple in Brittlebush is haunted. The spirit in it is the Fell Sicklescythe, a boss.
Notes
- The Carpenter's favourite aunt is Aunt Braelyn, who left for the Blackmire when the Carpenter was small.
- Defeating the spirit in Sun Temple Stories gives the Fell Sicklescythe Head.
