Sun Temple Stories looks into an old family tale of the Carpenter. His aunt Elin was said to have been cursed in a Sun Temple in the Kindlewastes. The Farmer, who grew up there, confirms that the Sun Temple of Brittlebush is haunted. The specter in the Haunted Sun Temple is the Fell Sicklescythe, a boss. Its head is the trophy for the next Flame level.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish In Need Of A Tanning Station or Almanac of Plants and Seedlings For The Farmer, and raise the Flame to level 5. Then speak to the Carpenter.
- Ask the Farmer, Emily Fray, about Elin's curse.
- Travel to the Haunted Sun Temple at Brittlebush.
- Solve the temple and reach the specter.
- Defeat the Fell Sicklescythe boss and take its head.
A gold sarcophagus waits in the temple as well.

Prerequisites
Two quests open this one, and the Flame must also reach level 5. In Need Of A Tanning Station follows the escaped inmates of Raven's Keep to Lupa's Lair, where the Hunter's Tanning Station waits. Almanac of Plants and Seedlings For The Farmer recovers the Farmer's lost almanac from the Scavengers at Surat's Rest. After that, the Carpenter remembers a story about his aunt Elin, who was cursed in a Kindlewastes Sun Temple. The Farmer, Emily Fray, grew up in the Kindlewastes and confirms that the temple in Brittlebush is haunted.
