Finding Masonry Tools unlocks more crafting stations for the Carpenter. The tools lie at a research site in the Pillars of Creation, where researchers dug around a gigantic, strange structure. One of their excavation camps still holds the Masonry Tools.
Walkthrough
The quest step by step:
- Finish Table Saw For The Carpenter and Reach The Capital, Pikemead's Reach, then speak to the Carpenter.
- Travel to the Gate to the Pillars of Creation.
- Inside, find the research camp. From the Ancient Obelisk, go around and up the natural ramp.
- Search the excavation camps for the Masonry Tools.
- Return to the base and place the Masonry Tools.

Prerequisites
Two earlier quests open this one. In Table Saw For The Carpenter, the Carpenter needs Circular Sawblades from Thornhold. Scavengers have looted the town, and the trail of their wagons leads to a camp nearby. In Reach The Capital, Pikemead's Reach, the Blacksmith senses a dark presence in the fallen capital. The quest leads into the castle, The Pike, to defeat the castle beast. After both, the Carpenter wants Masonry Tools to build more stations.
