Thornhold is a walled town in Revelwood, now held by Scavengers. Before the fall, the Carpenter bought his saw blades here. The town was also overrun by stray, starving dogs, and the townsfolk nearly ate them in lean years. Kennels stand in the town, and their feeding logs are pinned to the cages. Two quests lead here: one for saw blades and one for a dog named Ruffles.
Where to Find Thornhold - Map Location
Thornhold lies in the south of Revelwood, north of Fort Kelvin. The Fawnsong Frontier camp is to the north and the Sacrificial Vukah Pit to the south. Glimmer Rock Mine lies to the south-east.

Quests
In Dog Search, the Hunter warns that Thornhold was once ravaged by stray dogs. She asks for one to be tamed with Dog Food Bait and brought home. The dog, Ruffles, joins the base and wants a dog bowl and a dog bed. In Table Saw For The Carpenter, the Carpenter sends players here for Circular Sawblades. The town has been looted, and the Scavengers have carted the blades away. Follow the road to their camp to find them.

Chests
The gold chest is buried in a grave. Silver chests sit on the upper floor of the large central building and above the wolf pens in the building by the southern gate. Wooden chests wait on the tower near the north entrance, in a round tent and in a ruined house with bars for a door. Others sit in the basement of the central building, beside a cart and in a tent in the south.

Lore Pages
The Kennel Notes are feeding logs pinned to the cages. Thrasher has a nasty bite and was last fed a hand, by accident. Deadmeat has grown gaunt, and nobody remembers the last feeding. Ruffles cries and barks at night and looks odd for a wolf. The keeper's advice is to yell back until it stops.
