Flameborn
The Flameborn is the player character of Enshrouded. The Flameborn is the last ember of hope of a dying people. Woken by the Flame, the Flameborn must survive the corrupting fog of the Shroud and win back the lost beauty of the kingdom.
Lore
The Flameborn slept in a Cinder Vessel in the Cinder Vault of the Springlands, until the Flame woke them. Queen Jezmina travelled with the young Ancients to hide more of these vessels around Embervale, for every soul who could not reach the Springlands in time.
Jezmina painted the Flameborn more than once. Jezmina's Journey Begins shows Ancients and humans uniting to forge the Flameborn. Her last painting, The Last Spark, is a portrait of the Flameborn as the start of a new era.
At the end of the story the Flameborn gives their own inner fire to save the Mother Flame. The Flameborn is lost to the world they rebuilt, but remembered as the one who saved it.
