The Flightless Redtail is a fleeting animal in Enshrouded, found in the Springlands, the Nomad Highlands, the Kindlewastes and the Albaneve Summits. You can tame it and keep it in your base.
Where to Find the Flightless Redtail - Map Location
Flightless Redtails live mostly in the Nomad Highlands. A few also roam the Kindlewastes, the Springlands and the Albaneve Summits. Small flocks stay on the high ground around Fanning Ranch, on the plateau to the east and on the detached peak to the south-west. They also gather near Flame Shrines, Flame Sanctums and the Trade Outpost "Blazing Rock". They run when approached, so Bird Food Bait is the way to tame one.

Taming and Breeding
Flightless Redtail can be tamed with Bird Food Bait. They require three successful pet interactions to be tamed. After being brought to your base they require shelter, a Farm Animal Pillow and a Bird Feeder with Bird Food. You can craft these at the Farmer.
If provided with a spare bed, a pair of Flightless Redtail have a chance to produce offspring (Baby Flightless Redtail).
Flightless Redtail produce Eggs every 20 minutes when sheltered and fed. They can hold up to four and won’t produce more beyond this limit until it's collected. They will also produce when unfed, but at a much slower rate. Production will happen regardless of player distance.Eggs need to be cooked to be consumed safely.

Baby Flightless Redtail
A small, round Flightless Redtail baby. Even at this age, their beak can cause some damage. Don't get pecked! Breeding a pair of Flightless Redtails gives a Baby Flightless Redtail.
