Full Set Cost	7 String 9 Torn Cloth

The Ragged Set is a basic starter armor set, a shirt, trousers and boots sewn from scraps. It suits a fresh character in the first minutes of the Springlands. Its only strength is basic physical and magical protection. It is made by hand from Torn Cloth and String.

Pieces

The pieces give a little physical and magical armor. They take the edge off the first fights until real armor becomes available.

Piece	Slot	Level	Physical	Magical	Materials
Ragged Shirt	Chest Armor	3	17	17	3 String 4 Torn Cloth
Ragged Pants	Leg Armor	3	12	12	2 Torn Cloth 2 String
Ragged Boots	Boots	3	3	3	3 Torn Cloth 2 String

How to Get Ragged Set Guide

The Ragged pieces appear in the personal crafting menu once Torn Cloth has been picked up. Torn Cloth drops from many early enemies, and String is made by hand from plant fibres. The shirt, pants and boots can all be made in the first minutes of the game. The set only gives basic physical and magical protection. It is replaced as soon as the Blacksmith, the Hunter or the Alchemist is rescued and starts crafting real armour.

Levelling and Upgrades

The Ragged pieces are starter gear. Their own descriptions call them a stopgap until better armor crosses the path. The first real sets come from the Blacksmith, the Hunter and the Alchemist once they are rescued and settled in the base.

Lore

The Ragged descriptions joke about how poor the outfit is. The shirt asks whether it can even be called a shirt. The pants are said to be enough to brace the worst of it, until better armour crosses the path. The boots can barely be called boots. Together they are the clothes of a Flameborn who has just woken up with nothing.
