The Ebony Scimitar is a plain ebony sword in a Morrowind silhouette, added by the Ghosts of the Tribunal Creation alongside the Ebony Mace. It is not a unique artefact: it is a standard weapon in an unusual shape, and it behaves exactly as its numbers suggest.
Weapon Enchantment
None. It is an ordinary ebony weapon and takes whatever enchantment you place on it.
Where to Find the Ebony Scimitar
- It is added by the Ghosts of the Tribunal Creation and appears through that Creation's content rather than from one fixed place.
- The Creation is included in Anniversary Edition.
Smithing Guide
The weapon is not enchanted, so no Arcane Blacksmith perk is needed to work on it.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
