Blacksmiths and general goods merchants stock it from level 36. Chests hold enchanted copies from level 37. High-level draugr in Nordic tombs also wield ebony weapons.

Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a grindstone with an Ebony Ingot. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
Forge it with the Ebony Smithing perk, which needs Smithing 80.
It matches the Daedric War Axe at 15 base damage, weighs 1 less and needs no Daedra Heart.
