The Ebony Mace is a one-handed weapon in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Interestingly it has the same base damage as a Daedric mace but is easier to craft. This makes it the 2nd best mace after the Dragonbone Mace added in the Dawnguard DLC.

Where to find the Ebony Mace Location?
- Unenchanted Ebony Maces can be found as random loot in chests after you reach level 36+ and enchanted maces can be found at level 37+. However the chance of them appearing are very low. Blacksmiths and General Goods Merchants have a chance to sell Ebony Mace. You can reset their inventory by saving the game, attacking them and then reloading.
- You can power level your smithing skill to level 80 and get the Ebony Smithing perk to craft a Ebony Mace.
Gameplay Tips
- Considering that you can find the Ebony Mace in leveled loot a whole 10 levels earlier than the Daedric Mace, and it does the same amount of base damage. It can be worth prioritising this mace first.
