The Darkwood beam 45° is the diagonal of the darkwood Supports set, cut to the steeper roof angle. Use it as a rafter under matching roofing, or as a brace from wall to beam where a corner needs stiffening.

How to Build It

It costs two wood and one tar, placed near a workbench. Angled pieces only meet cleanly at their own pitch, so a 45 degree beam lines up under 45 degree roofing and sits wrong against the shallow set. The tar comes from the pits out in the Plains, so gather a stack before you start a roof.
