The Maypole is a five metre pole hung with ribbons, the midsummer centrepiece of the Decoration tab, built from Wood, Dandelion and Thistle. It is more than ornament: one standing near the beds raises the comfort of a hall by a level, which gives you a longer rested buff every time the household wakes up.

How to Build It

It takes ten Wood, four Dandelion and four Thistle, built within range of a Workbench. The calendar costs more than the materials do: the recipe only appears over midsummer and vanishes for the rest of the year, though a pole already planted stays up and keeps working. With 50 durability it is fragile, so put it inside the walls where a raid cannot reach it, and close enough to the bed for the comfort to count.
