Neck Tail comes from the necks that skitter along the rivers and shorelines of the Meadows. It is the first meat most players ever hold, and it is worthless until it meets a fire.
How to Get It
Necks die to almost anything, a stone axe or a thrown stone included, and a kill usually drops two tails. Hunt along the water's edge in the Meadows, where they sun themselves in twos and threes and are bad at running away. A raw tail gives no health or stamina and cannot be eaten, so it goes straight onto a cooking station or into a recipe.
