You do not so much farm Pot Shard as cause it. It is what is left when you smash open an ancient pot inside a putrid hole or a set of charred ruins out in the Ashlands.

How to Get It

Ancient pots stand around in putrid holes and charred ruins, and anything you are holding will break one, so your axe or pickaxe tier does not matter. The real difficulty is the Ashlands itself: the sea crossing, the ground that burns whatever stands on it, and the charred that guard the ruins you are searching. Shards can go through a portal, so you can send them home without waiting for the voyage back.
