Build a wing onto a steep-roofed hall and the join will not close until you drop in a Shingle Roof I-Corner 45°. It is the Roofing tab's inner corner for the tall pitch, made of the same Wood and Tar as its neighbours, and it has one job: sealing the valley where two 45° slopes run together.
How to Build It
Each piece costs two Wood and one Tar and is built next to a Workbench. Lay the two straight runs first and leave the valley open; the inner corner drops into the gap they make, so looking for its spot before the slopes exist is wasted effort. Like every shingle it is immune to rain damage, which matters most right here, since the valley is the part of a roof that stays wet longest.
