Where a shallow tarred roof turns an outside corner, the Shingle Roof O-Corner 26° is the wedge that closes it. It belongs to the Shingle Roofs family on the Roofing tab and is cut from Wood sealed with Tar. It carries the hip line of a 26 degree pitch, so the two slopes meet over the corner post instead of leaving a triangle of open sky above it.
How to Build It
Each corner costs 2x Wood and 1x Tar and needs a Workbench in range both to place and to repair it. The tar is the real gate: it comes from the tar pits in the Plains, so this is a roof you come back and build later. The reward for the trek is that tarred pieces do not weather in the rain the way plain wood does. Keep the whole roof at one angle, because a 26 degree corner will not seat against a 45 degree slope.
