Steep roofs need corner pieces of their own, and the Shingle Roof O-Corner 45° wraps an outside angle on a 45 degree pitch. Built from Wood and Tar in the Shingle Roofs family under Roofing, it turns a hip line through a right angle, so a tall tarred roof can cover a tower or an L-shaped hall with no gap at the join.
How to Build It
Each piece costs two Wood and one Tar and is placed and repaired inside the radius of a Workbench. The steep pitch sheds water fast and gives you headroom under the ridge, but it eats vertical space, so leave clearance above the wall line before you start snapping pieces. As with the rest of the set, the tar means no rain damage, and the 45 degree corner only fits other 45 degree shingle pieces.
