Take a shingle roof up to a full 45 degree pitch and the peak still needs sealing, which is what the Shingle Roof Ridge 45° is for. It belongs to the Shingle Roofs family on the Roofing tab, costs Wood and Tar like everything else in the set, and covers the line where two tall slopes meet over a great hall or a watchtower.
How to Build It
Each section costs 2x Wood and 1x Tar, with a Workbench in range for building and repairs. This ridge sits higher and narrower than the shallow version, so check your headroom and snap points before you commit to the pitch. Remember too that mixing 26 and 45 degree pieces leaves a seam no ridge will cover. Once the tarred peak is closed it stays closed, because the rain that chews through untreated wood does nothing to it.
