Nothing else in the build menu pushes the Mistlands fog back for good, which is why the Wisp Torch is the first thing most builders plant when they claim ground out there. You find it under Lighting. It is made from a length of Yggdrasil Wood and a single Wisp, and it burns cold and blue over a circle of ground that stays clear for as long as the torch stands.

How to Build It

The recipe is one Yggdrasil Wood and one Wisp. Unusually for a lit piece, it needs no crafting station beside it. You can carry the materials into the Mistlands and start opening up ground before you have a Workbench there. It never needs fuel, and the mist it clears does not creep back, so a line of them planted along a route turns a blind crawl into a path you can actually see.
